Impact Fitness has developed a new program, “The Fitness Inventory Program.” This program is a guide and method to begin implementing an effective workout routine. It encourages diligence, observation, and education in an exercise program. This program is only available through Impact Fitness. The program includes a custom journal authored by Jenn, three training sessions (including an in depth assessment), resistance bands, and a consult for setting up an optimal home gym. We are able to cater to small limited spaces using little equipment.
The core of the Fitness Inventory Journal is to learn about exercise for YOUR body. There are few ways to instill a healthy, effective, and safe exercise program for life. To establish a well-rounded lifestyle–complete with proper exercise, nutrition & hydration, and sleep–requires not only an investment of time, but of money as well. Unfortunately, to fully understand one’s body, you won’t be able to learn it in a group exercise class or magazine. Because the human body is a complex machine, achieving the most effective and health body/mind will require an investment in an experienced and educated personal trainer, proper self or education in human motion, or studying to obtain a certificate in personal training.
The Fitness Inventory Journal is designed to help you understand and respect your body. This in turn will help you ultimately gain true benefits of a healthy exercise regime and living habits.
Before beginning your program, you will need to fill out a Fitness Inventory questionnaire, which includes the following information: personal goals and dreams; obstacles and how to overcome them; observation of energy levels; and assessments of asymmetries and body limitations.
If you truly invest in this journal, you will learn how to exercise for yourself and the best & most effective exercises for your body-instead of trying random exercises from a fitness magazine. Contact us for pricing and scheduling. For now, here are some basic tips in regard to home personal training:
–Keep hydrated-this means increase your water intake! If you are thirsty, that means your body is already dehydrated.
–Form while working out is extremely important! A common misconception with strength training is to lift as much as possible. If you are trying to gain strength and toning, you want to make sure you have proper posture throughout the motion/movement of the exercise. Different exercises require different positions or postural ques, but all in all try to make a straight line throughout your spine from the tip of your head to your tailbone. If you can’t, then the exercise or weight is too challenging for you right now and you need to lessen the weight you’re are using, do fewer repetitions, or simply do a different exercise that your body is capable of doing.
–You always want to suck your belly button in towards your back, as if you are scrunching your tummy before someone punches you there. This will rotate your hips and pelvis to be in proper positioning.
–In order to reach your fitness goals, the main way to achieve them is by ALL 4 ways: cardiovascular exercise, a weight training/resistance exercise program, proper nutrition/hydration, and rest.
Hello,
Interested in learning more about your fitness inventory program and pricing? I also wonder if you have any experience with turf toe rehabilitation?
Thanks,
Angelina
